I note that from this thread that 9 years on, I haven't strayed from my aubergine favourite, worth a special trip to the wonderful Lily's in Ashton.

Lily's is amazing. I should probably go very soon.

No not tried with the fried egg before, that sounds lush though for ultimate richness. No, not gajar ka, just the plain sweet one with semolina.
