Urban75 Late Night Poker

I know it's how long is a piece of string - but how long do you reckon the game will go on for? How big are the blinds going to be?

tried it, i have a post up in tech & comps asking, but no ones come back with any clever suggestions yet :(
 
oif its 5 people i will be shocked(to the point of having a heart attack) if it last more then an hour idaho.

probbaley be considerably less then that though.

The blinds will start off really small and escalate every 12-15 mins, I forget exactly how long. I would expect the same as Kained - inside an hour for the whole thing, but it could go on longer. In theory, it might all be over after 1 hand! :eek:
 
i love playing in the play money rooms its so funny, 5 people going all in on the first hand!

most of em only ever have a jack with a crap kicker and all.

Looking forward to this... bear with me if I get called away for a minute or two or if I am a tiny bit late. I really will try not to be but there are two newborns in the house and they are unpredictable little things.

So can we add the $10 immediately before the game?

Yes, the opening tournament is going to be a more modest affair in terms of numbers than I hoped but the show starts here.

Hi guys, they've been a bit slow processing my tournament request, but it should be appearing later tonight on the menu.

Starfish, I'm sorry but it may not be possible to include you amongst the list of eligible players for this one - likewise JC. I did try :(

I think we should make this a regular tourney so I look forward to seeing many more people around the table next week... :)
 
i'm really really looking foward to this!

probbaley going to get cocky and lose but hey im still rreally really looking foward to this!

this will be first stakes game thats over £2!!!! and they were about 4/5 years ago haven't played for more then pennies since!

They have been really slow at getting the tournament up on the system - I think they aren't too used to doing it - and have got the time wrong (they didn't know what BST was so went for EST instead) :rolleyes:

Oh and they have made it 'limit' instead of 'nolimit'. I've again asked for them to include jockystarfish... next time we can have a password rather than individually entered names.


Let's hope things get sorted! :eek: :D

There's many poker sites, however I could find only two that could host private tournaments, pokertropolis.com and ipoker.net . Of these two ipoker.net seemed preferable, one reason that the minimum deposit is a mere $10

Fingers crossed we'll have it sorted on time.

Well, i just registered for the tournament. As far as i can tell, everything looks fine. It's listed as a no-limit hold-em tournament starting at 5pm, which i assume if EST USA, and should equate to 10pm UK time.

So far i'm the only one actually registered in the tourney. I look forward to "seeing" you all there in four hours or so.

Are you still having trouble depositing funds Kained? If all else fails, I can transfer $10 to your account.
 
I might have to warm up with the pot limit freeroll... before the real excitement starts...

It obviously gives a time based on your computer's time settings. Starfish, maybe you should make sure your computer's time is correct.
