Weekends generally aren't that great for me, but will try to get down there one of these days.

Anyway I just wanted to know what I would need to bring on Sundays, and are wellies strictly necessary (I don't actually own any at the moment )

If you've got any gardening gloves, do bring them, or any gardening tools. No worries if you don't have them, there are usually enough tools/gloves to go around!

As for wellies, they're not necessary, any sturdy shoes or boots will do, it's not that muddy

BTW I've tried to rejoin the discussion group but it won't let me, says my application is still pending or something weird like that, so will prolly communicate via this thread for now!

I have decided to invest in gardening gloves and wellies as I don't really have any shoes I can afford to get muddy, and also if I spend money on the allotment then I will have 'invested' and will have to keep coming and doing the work (weird innit logic, but it works for me!)
