Urban75 allotment - Brixton

We can use the hanjanvan to pick up horseshit :)

I tried to send this message to the yahoo thing but it wouldn't let me. Hmm - I wonder if it's to do with the fact that we have to give it the email addresses of members in advance, and perhaps mine is wrong? <just a thought>

yeah - probably a thing with the email address. It's case sensitive too I think - I had problems with it on another group.

Have lots of seeds here and will pledge to give any seedlings that I have too many of.

Ernn..I'd like to come and help but I'm not sure dogs are allowed on allotments?

Biddly sent me a gmai invite so I'll join the group too

Me and sparrow pledge to compost our food waste and donate to the allotment :)

dunno about dogs - haven't seen any, but we can always ask... have seen a fat ginger cat, a robin and some foxes up there though! :) nature, eh?

I think the only concern with having a dog down there would be the shit - depends how likely she is to wander off and crap on anyone else's plot!

There seem to be no rules or regulations at all. I suspect it would be down to discretion. I'd love to have your little dog down there but I could understand why other people would object. I'll ask the owner what she thinks.

All this interest is great! :)

Fertiliser! They should be grateful.

That's fine!

She is well behaved and wouldn't crap but I'd understand it if people don't want a dog down there....

ok.. 3 Sundays and a Saturday. I will write to her and let her know that Sunday is the way forward (sorry Bee!) :)

She's not well herself at the moment!

I was going to go down with someone else too... but if she's not well she probably doesn't want to do both days. Maybe next weekend? I will get to the allotment dammit! :)

Hiya... sadly no dogs allowed... :(

ok :( :)

Good luck with it - you can still have the polytunnel and seeds, and I'll probably be able to pop along without the dog just not this weekend :)

crazy snow this morning but where the hell did it go???

Have a good time this weekend - I'll be back on for the one after - probably sunday again.

Do Sundays seem to be the most popular day so far? If so, I'd be up for next Sunday (this Sunday is a bit busy for me).

so far, I think so - I know me and pie lady have a few rehearsals coming up that are on Saturdays, so deffo wouldn't be able to get up there then...

Sundays seem to be better for me at the moment, not sure why!

I've just tried to post something on eme's doodah - it said my post was successful but I can't see it

Anyway I just wanted to know what I would need to bring on Sundays, and are wellies strictly necessary (I don't actually own any at the moment :o )
