I had this at number 5
15 - The Fall - New Facts Emerge
Here they are again, and what could be better?
Looking hopeful for Orc then, I should think!
14 - Kelly Lee Owens- Kelly Lee Owen
An album that bridges the gaps between cavernous techno, spectral pop, and krautrock’s mechanical pulse, beguiling and quite brilliant.
13 - The Moonlandingz - Interplantary Class Classics
Rock 'n' roll class war - biting, bitter, hilarious and brilliant. Buy it.
oh, I enjoyed that - it should probably have made my list. curses.
Get ready to rule another one out...
bjork? released too late for a proper high placing I reckon
12 - Bjork - Utopia
She's back, Most a sensory experience than an album, perhaps. It's sumptuous, lush and airy, and even contains humour (apparently)
Pigsx7 must be a good bet for the top ten.
Which I have at 4. Always thought that would be the better placed of the two.
That's what I said
11 - Godspeed You! Black Emperor – Luciferian Towers
Another cascade of Canadian heaviness, hiding a ridiculously optimistic worldview behind funereal soundscapes.
Looks like they'll be behind Mogwai then. Which, for once, is unfair IMO
Time to top up the wine
This is great, but it sounds just like Warpaint! Like spookily so. Still, I'll be checking this one out...
I'm not sure why it takes so long to top up a glass of wine. Has he had to nip to the offy?
Quite a few to check out here, but some real stinkers too so far.
Number two for me. I haven't heard the Damaged Bug LP - I'm a bit behind with that. Still working my way through the Oh Sees back catalogue.
Stinkers or ones to check out?
I'll be very sad if the Mary Chain aren't in the list.
LCD (of course), Thundercat, Fever Ray, Juana Molina and Kendrick Lamar
Fairly sure they'd be up by now if it was going to.
That's what I was thinking.
Ah, the dramatic pause before the top ten.
*taps on screen*
*taps screen harder*
Mogwai for number one then.
Separate names with a comma.
