I don't think belboid is saying that EchoDek is a single.
means that it was released as an album. And I've already voted for it as my number 8 without him questioning it, so it's clearly accepted as an album for our purposes here

I’d say “Satan Live” by orbital is a 1996 album. :D

I sold my 2x12” vinyl version ages back. The Albert Hall gig around then was good but I never liked the Butthole Surfers sample.

But there is no shame in putting the odd “boundary” release in your list.

Echo Dek is a belter of an album. Which I have a promo vinyl LP of because I couldn’t be arsed with a box of seven inches.

It's the best thing Primal Scream have ever done, mainly because you can't hear them much on it.

Yes in the same way that Screamsdelica could have been a great Jah Wobble and Andy Weatherall
    album...

The original 12" version I referred to only had one 7 minute version of Satan - no remixes. The other six tracks (57 minutes odd of the running time are different live tracks).

Orbital - Satan Live (Vinyl) at Discogs.

    Just Saying :D

Found an interesting site here which has PDFs of the weekly Music Week charts pages for 1997 (the site also has them - initially from the Record Mirror - from the 1950s to 2007).

Here's a link to the PDF of the year end review for 1997 - Top 100 best selling albums, singles, top 50 radio play tracks, analysis of trends and most useful of all

We all want to nominate the Diana tribute album really. I've lost my copy, so does anyone have a tracklist?

hmm, my longlist of 23 has now had six definitely confirmed as In, and five that are Out. So 4 from 12 still to find...

Oh yes it does. Only released in the UK in 1997, so stop complaining. And it's bloody great.
