urban, what's your earworm?

Something by Death In Vegas

Has anyone tried timing a song that's 'playing' in your bonce to see if it matches with the true duration of the track? It's great fun. Always seems to be around 10% shorter than the real thing for me.

The Soviet National Anthem. I found myself marching round Sainsbury's singing it earlier as I browsed the glorious vegetables, grown through the joyous labour and valourous deeds of the proletariat. :o
as sung by the red army choir, i hope. :)

best national anthem by some distance... it's often playing in my head.

i've had joss stones rendition of the flake advert jingle in my head for about 3 days.
its finally gone now and has been replaced by blissful peace :)

round round gettaround i gettaround

gettaround wooohoo i gettaround.

i think it's the beach boys in my head.

i wish they'd stop.

When I got off the bus this evening, I found myself humming 'When I survey the wondrous cross.'

I haven't even been inside a church for the best part of six years, and I've no idea when I last heard that particular hymn, so why it's come to me now I don't know. It's not even a very hummable tune.

Party Fears Two - mostly the ending and a bit of the music/wordless section
& the "I have been a washer up An' he has been a scrubber up" bit of The Clash's Cheapskates mixed in with the " better than some factory Now thats no place to waste your youth" lines and chorus of all The Young Punks

The Fall's "Spoilt Victorian Child", trying very hard to to impersonate Mark E Smith too loudly whilst at work.

Cockney version of Lady in Red thanks to watching one of Bill Bailey's DVDs.

I had that:D Currently the Crass covers album by Jeffrey Lewis. I say currently, it has been a month now 24/7 . Much as I love the album, it is making me go mad and have been asked at work why I keep going 'system system system'.

Thanks to he recent thread and hearing the origanal for the first time in ages the other day - it's the Kate Bush sample w/ instriments loop from the Utah Saints Something Good (origanal mix)
it's now going back and forth between that and Sigar Ros - Hipipolia

Discipline by Throbbing Gristle.....Haven't been able to shift the bugger all day

Suffer for fashion by Of Montreal. Which means I have the word 'vicissitudes' running through my head despite not knowing what it means :hmm:

FUCKING GODDAM ESPECIALLY FOR YOU... i'm sure it's related to a rickrolling i was victim of the other night... i'm gradually managing to displace it using an applied combination of toxicity and bullet in the head but goddam...
