The E.A.

The Election Authority
Hello fellow/ess urbanites.

We will now post a poll on which people can nominate candidates.

Be aware again that The Election Authority's decision of which candidates will be in the election and the public 'Big Debate' will be final.

Nominated candidates of course do not have to stand .. but then will be accused of having no bottle :)

Sadly some candiates have already been ruled out; Mauvais for threatening to take power unconstitutionally, and das uberdog, treelover and RMP3 for not living close to london

p.s. it has outragously been suggested that this election is 2 london centric. Yes it is. Deal with it. The rest of politics in this country is run from here so why not this!

Yeah. And i reckon somebody who says they are not on the left like Pete the Greek or Giles should have been on the list...Instead of someone like tbaldwin, popular though he undoubtedly is,cant see him getting many votes on here.

It's all fucked from the start.

I'm not in the line up.

Oh, well. Never mind. Nice try.

I think you should have been. As you have plenty to say usually and its often a bit different from others on here.

Thank you. You are hereby redeemed.

Everyone else, however, is a cunt.

Sorry, it's the rules of the week.

Cunt Cunt Cunt.

person of colour? Sorry is this 2007 or 1967?

I think you'll find that anyone who is not white is referred to as a "person of colour". If I used the word "Negro", I would understand but I didn't.

I thought the term was non-white?

Person of colour seems a little outmoded imo.

Yeah i think treelover should have been on here...Though i often disagree with him..He at least seems to be quite open and honest.

I also thought teejay when he used to post on here was quite interesting. I know he really hated some of the stuff i said. But he did put up some good arguements at times.

I didn't realise it was multiple. Would have voted for torres, durruti and tbaldwin.

ta....And i would have voted for myself. I voted durruti as first preference....cos he is not as big a tosser as me.....But id have voted for you as well on multiple choice. But there are a few candidates i think with interesting things to say...When you come to think about it Urban does have quite a few interesting contributors.

I think the fact duruti voted for himself just about sums it all up. Urban now has its own version of a career politician in the making , 10 years time he will be the new red ken twenty years time he will become a sell out and still have balders voting for him :D

We are all hypocrites.
how can you trust anyone who hasnt voted for themselves though brassic.....

I like the idea of voting myself.

Also think that its a good way of seeing what people actually stand for at some stage rather than the never ending sniping threads....

I voted for Knotted as he puts forwards coherent arguements. Brassic due to a few interesting posts and that he is the perfect candidate in that he appears to be anti the whole thing. And durruti and baldwin for their indefegatibility.;)

I find this election business a little flawed. I think that durruti and MK12 have both failed to adequately address the issue of the dictatorshit of the proletariat.
Therefore i think that whoever is in 3rd place, should be declared the unbending authority of urban75.
