You got it into your head that I was "sneering"
This is your first post on the thread:
Well that was a bit rubbish. A car hire company, Lambeth Council, TFL, a DVD showing about "international banking conspiracies" (hmmmmmmm, where have I heard that before?), overpriced bread and a lot of hippies.
You don't think that's sneering? You obviously don't like the word pointing at you but it fits reasonably well imo.
...and dragged in some irrelvant stuff from another thread.
You then completely failed to address anything that I had said. That suggests to me that you have some problems.
Well I've tried about 5 times to explain the relevance of your advocacy of EC but clearly failed so I'll pass on that.
Using "hippy" as a slag-off always seems pretty pointless to me.
But the
only reason you've given for knocking the event is that it 'isn't reaching out to the middle ground' - or words to that effect. There's a perfectly reasonably debate to be had about whether or not that is the only valid point of an UGF. But since - in your initial post - you sneered at the fact that there were stalls from - I quote -
"A car hire company, Lambeth Council, TFL" - your criticism just doesn't make sense since these are exactly the sort of middle-ground stands that won't frighten anyone away.
Doesn't that seems totally contradictory to you? It does to me.
I've made this point already earlier in the thread, I have tried to address your posts quite directly. You've ignored it and indeed, pretty much everything I've said in favour of astonishment that I've said it.
Re my "problems" and "projection" etc; - tbh since you were the only person who came back on my (non-specific, ie not made directly to or of you) allegation of "teenaged-cynicism" right back at the beginning of the thread - I'm reading this whole exchange as being based on the fact that the cap fitted you. I can't see why else you've been so touchy. Qui accuse, s'accuse.
