updating the guide to putting on a warehouse party / rave / free party

afaik it's up to date.

I think it's a bit different to the original guide as it's only focussed on changes to the law since the first guides were done, so I reckon it's best to put it up as a seperate page titled something like 'updated rave law info', with links to it from the top of the other guides, and the law section on the site, as the original articles still have some pretty good guidance on the practicalities of putting a party on etc.

This may spur me on to work up some more guides on the practicalities side of things, but seeing as it's taken 3 years to get this far, I reckon you should just put the legal guide bit up for now and I'll try to get round to the rest by 2020 or so, if nobody else does it first.

Just started lookin into having a warehouse party, Good information to know ,just starting off from strach , i have a warehouse i can use , will i still need to apply for a t.e.n . Its in the countryside so i think i am going to be ok but i am looking to be orginising alot more parties.Should i apply anyway just to start a relationship with them now or just fire away with the show

I realise this is old posting however I am in need of some help.

I wanted to organise a rave in a building I already rent and planned to do one a month so decided the TEN was best route and submitted it with my event plan. I spoke to police and fire and inviromental health who objected as premises were not suitable.

Well I installed a full fire alarm system, I installed full CCTV system I covered every eventuality and fire and environmental withdrew there objections so just police. I sat down with police and we agreed plan, when new TEN went in 2 weeks before event they pulled plug on me and I've now been served a counter notice.

I still want to go ahead with event as planned as I had a sell out in 3 days. Police won't answer my calls or emails and are being obstructive in all ways.

Is there any loop holes that I can get through???
