SILLY PEDANT.... We've had some fantastic strikers at Spurs.
They still having frigging won you anything have they???...Unless you want to go in to ancient history....And if you think you are going to hold on to Berbitov, then think again.

You're just a (UN)glorified feeder club

not very original, predicatable focus shifting from your lame season (by your own standards)

we shall see, I'd like to keep hold of him but with his talent he will undoubtably want to play champions league football.... its understandable if he wants out

no. How many times are you going to ask me the same question:rolleyes:

Chieftan, this has really rattled you hasnt it?

I'm as guilty as anyone to going apeshit mental doolaly when we score a crucial goal. Sols goal to put us one up in the Champions League Final (that's the Champions League Final - the biggest club competition in the world and sadly, a competition that you lot are unlikely ever to play in, lasagne or no lasagne) and Henry's winner against Manure being two recent examples.

Fact that you, Revol and the other tiny tots seem to be overlooking
is that last weeks derby was not in that league. Our games against you these days arent, execpt perhaps last seasons game at Highbury which, had you won, would have seen you playing (and no doubt getting knocked out by) Zagreb in the CL qualifiers. Now, I wasnt there, but relief was by biggest emotion when a certain Mr Henry scored that day to equalise, not orgasmic elation.

I think it shows the different levels of ambition at the two North London clubs. For us, a really successful season would be a double, or to be European Champions. Up the Seven Sisters Rd a really successful season would be for you to beat The Mighty Arsenal:D

Anyway, for most Gooners, Man U and Chelsea would be classed as our biggest rivals, not Spurs. I guess you could say we're transcending that local thang;)

quite honestly I just think Henrys a very silly sulky child who talent is enough that he doesnt need to resort to this bitter kind of playground saddness.

(edited... change of heart!)

The kids done well. Should have won the Charling cup....but they were worth a tenth of Chavscumski and with vastly less experience, therefore are forgiven...Yes lame by our standards...but we'll be back...you still need to turn up...And Chief' you're an intelligent man (for a spud) truth is usually deeply boring, and unoriginal.

we shall see, I'd like to keep hold of him but with his talent he will undoubtably want to play champions league football.... its understandable if he wants out
I'm sure the Spuds would love to do a lot of things, but maybe you should start with winning something to justify this unfathomable bluster.

ukulele!! ;) :D

This is not a knock.... but why do you lot refer to them as "the kids"?

The Arsenal team that faced Spurs had an average age of 22.5 whilst Spurs was only 23.5 in the Carling cup, against Chelski it was only 1.5 years difference...

The reserves maybe but not the kids... in truth it anoys me!

Spurs are much improved and more experienced again this season... Did well in the Carling and FA, had fun in Uefa and are currently 2 point off 5th place with a game in hand. Not bad at all but I agree its about time Spurs won something again...

Im off to the Spurs thread, see you fella

Your asking us why the youngest group of 11 footballers in the competition are called the kids?;)

and btw, I hope Spurs start winning things soon too believe it or not. I'd much rather see The Spuds win trophies than ManUre or Chavski and two of my best mates are Spurs fans and it would make them happy.
