Unsound taking over Red Star - Camberwell

Well fk me - we've been offered to take over the Red Star on camberwell Green - we've decided to go for it and will be kicking it off on new years eve, with a long and very messy party - i'm not gonna go into too much detail here, but this is a long term thing and really looks like it could be a wicked opportunity to re-ignite the old arches spirit --we're not just doing the odd night in there, but are properly taking it over - - - there are 2 licensed rooms -1 for 350 people and 1 for 120 , and then a big celler/ back stage area , which is where one might find the old arch vibe, if you know what i mean -- could be on to summat here y'know - we will only be opening up on friday and saturday nights, and sunday daytime --ie not stopping in the morning --

on new years eve we'll have 3 sounds going - upstairs reggae/dub room - ground floor drum and bass/breakcore/funkytechno(my god whats this!!) mashup and we'll make the cellers as psychedelic and twisted as possible -- looking good

it's been on the cards for a while, but i didn't want to put it out until it was a cert --- which it is NOW

Good show! From the last experience I had there, I can tell you that place needs a few subtle pokes with a cattle prod at weekends...
