Looks like I'm gonna be stranded in Brixton on NYE, so I just might come to this, though I'll probably end up staying in - I don't really fancy anything too noisy and crowded for once - I'm all partied out.

I didn't want to be drawn into dissing Unsound's music policy but it really ain't for me. Pity there's so many nice people going there.
Come on, you know there's nothing quite like 3 hours of rowdy dancehall to warm the cockles of your heart . . .

The reggae/dub room and the live acts look very promising ..
we'll be having allsorts of stuff throughout - there are 3 spaces 1 biggun where the music will go through digidub style then DubDadda live with crispy horns (zion train's brass section) - then drum and bass - some breakcore -- then techno for a bit - dunno what techno you like orang - zebedee's coming with a bagfull - if it's acid you like tho you're outta luck - anything but -- -- the 2nd room will be non d+b all the way -- lsdiezel live, some dubbed up bigbeat, probably most of the funk - (dirty noted foo) -- more freestyle - 3rd room will be ska/reg/dub all night , with percussion provided my mark sanders (jah wobble's drummer) - i don't mind you dissing our music policy really

Me too. I LOVE a bit of the old dnb but my fave is a bit of funky house (a dirty word round these parts!!!)
and funky techno.Sounds like there's gonna be plenty of variety
Big Dadda ROCK!breakcore art of fact and boing - yes double o - deadlock - it's blindin line up across the board really -- there's no filler there mate believe me - house is the same as everything for me - there's excellent and shite - the really good thing about the red star is we've got the opportunity - time and space etc to put on all sorts of stuff - house included as it goes we used to have a few house dj's playing in 93/94 -
