why not?
it makes me all red and the inside of my mouth goes puffy. chillis and pepper are worst, but it has even happened with coriander in the past.
why not?
our buffets at school are always fried finger foods, and nine dishes out of ten are spicy - i can't eat spicy food.
so at the working lunch last friday we had:
onion bhajis
samosas
chilli fried chicken wings
curried spring rolls
oh, and teeny, bullet-hard sausage rolls.
no stop - you're spoiling us...![]()

My place served up ham sandwiches to a diversity meeting attended by amongst others Jews and Muslims.
There was also not enough veggie sarnies either.
My work almost served bacon sarnies to a visiting official from the Gulf. I hid them in the cupboard.
I had a cold egg, bacon and sausage sandwich with lettuce once. I was nearly sick - had to spit it out![]()

And watery, flavourless, shredded iceberg lettuce at that, and woody-centred pale orange tomato-shaped bullets, which somehow combine rock-hardness and sloppy runniness all in one strange and mutant quasi-plant-based package.
Pub lunches are bad for this kind of thing, too.
i've never worked for a company that has a buffet.
what the hell do you people do?

I just don't get the logic in that at all...
