My issues have issues
Isn't that handy, a web page devouted to toilets opening hours so you can plan where and when you#l be caught short. How convenient
That's why London is so special.

Bet you West minster doesn't offer piped music
The loo isn't quite underground but above. They're minging & utterly pointless - they close by about 7pm. The only time I'd be desperate enough to use them is on my way home, after 4 or 5 post-work pints, by which time of course, they're shut. So you end up pissing behind the phone shop by the roundabout, as per usual....There are some very grim toilets in Old Street tube station.

I remember readin a feasability teport by (I think) urban splash that had all sorts of possible uses for them, but without money I don't know. Any new use would have to include wheelchair acess which would drive the cost right up.They haven't gone. Not sure what they plan to do with them though.
There are some very quaint but pretty underground toilets near Hampstead Heath station. Probably the same ones George Michael got arrested in as above.

The ones still around but locked up - Stamford hill, Brixton, Crystal Place and West Norwood ( by the cemetry) Kenningtons (which they are trying to turn into an art space). Stockwells - fancy metal vent (stink pipe) still sticks out above the ground.
Any more then?![]()
There are some next to Battersea Arts Centre (to the right if you're facing the building).
I lived in Battersea from the early eighties till recently & don't ever remember them being open!
I don't travel much by public transport, but was at Stratford station last month with a bladder about to burst...I even took pictures (noooo, not me peeing). Oh and you can do your business to the strains of Vivaldi....Bet you West minster doesn't offer piped music

Stratford station loo

There used to be a sign on those when I was on the 77 going to school in the late 80's saying they would be permanently closed from April 1980!
Are they some funky estate agents now?
