I have a wheelchair I can bring for your use Yardie, but it's shit for stairs obviously so almost certainly not worth the bother.

Honestly no need, I'll cope well and feel good for doing it.
Bit grim for a few days after, but that's part of the deal I make with this thing.
Looking forward to seeing you anyways :)

Saw my doc this morning and he's told me how to 'pill myself up' when I do things like this.
    He's just so cool :)

Will probably be led astray by the fireworks from Bolton in the 12.45 kick off.

Did the first half of the walk! Was excellent - more facts than a BBC factual programme and we had a factual-off where there seem to be some fact competition. Very good stuff!! Well done to _PH_ for organising this!! I learnt stuff!! :)

    That were great!
Wish I could have done part #2.
I enjoyed the occasional quizical looks at us and people listening as they learnt things they didn't know :)
Thank's _PH_ , loads of interesting stuff I didn't know either.

PS It was really good for me and I've got some of my being-in-crowds confidence back:cool:

Yep, top guide work by _ph_.

That was really good. So many facts, it was great to be among unashamed transport geeks. Glad I stayed till the end and saw Arnos Grove and Southgate. Many thanks to pH for being so knowledgable and enthusiastic, and respect for printing his notes in the colour of the respective tube line and in the London Underground font!

    For Reuben: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tottenham_Court_Road_tube_station#In_popular_culture

BTW The Blackheath fireworks were excellent.

    E2A: Damn you paolo!

Yeah yeah, worked it out during a fag break ;) I mentioned it and was also going to drop a - -And then there were 3!!!- as i left , together with "Stay on the path" but didn't get round to it. Ill have to find the exact tunnel now ........................

    EDIT: http://www.nickcooper.org.uk/subterra/lu/lufilmtv/aawinlon.htm

Hey there is an idea for a walk. Film locations where you have to re-inact!! the scene :)

Lovely little walk/ride/info trail, nice one Mr P and everyone else who made it along .

I was kinda wondering as i remember there being some sort of special ticket that would allow people onto a platform for free if you were waiting for someone or were an enthusiast of trains. I wonder if something like this exists for the tube or if in fact it still exists for trains?

Anyways some pics for peeps and petes.

    here is where it started

Someone was on a radio phone in show this morning complaining that tube stations were too nice. They were saying that to cut costs London Undergound should spend less money on things like 'mood lighting at Gloucester Road'. :D
