That's a bit more like it. Still some glaring omissions though, and the lingering presence of Kanye "The Embodiment of Everything That's Wrong With Hip Hop These Days" West :hmm:

Yeah no fucking Ryan Adams. Uncut really has a one-track mind. The best of Americana was over and done by 97.
Great to see Ghostface in there especially as I thought it was a 99 release but it seems it came out in Jan 2000 though i certainly had a copy of it before then and had almost played it to death by the dawn of this decade.

ryan adams' heartbreaker is a cracking album, gold tho', just seemed too slick for my liking. adams did some good stuff with pneumonia in the early days

oops, meant to say whiskey town. the album is pneumonia. that's the only album i've got, but there are some beautiful tracks on it, especially 'easy hearts'. you gotta admit it tho', he does have a cool voice

Agree with earlier post, good to see gillian welch up there. she and her partner dave rawlings are superb together. see them in 'down from the mountain' concert, featuring music/artists from 'o brother where art thou'.

why not?
does anyone car about the Strokes anymore?
and.... Discovery over Homework? feck arf
The avalanches top 10? really?

innit? plus, it has rollin' & scratchin' on it, which alone would make the album a head and shoulders above the rest of their work...
