Add to that UR choice, The Seawolf

That whole era of Techno was the best for me - the E2K Club Classics compilations, the Technohead compilations and Techno Nations 2...class hard MUSIC, as opposed to Gabba style funnoise stuff...you know, music with proper tunes and development in them...

*looks up* WEEE , 'Access'...would love to hear that in a club/party again...remember the first time I heard it at UK in the Popart room, on the stage having just dabbed about half a g of whizz off this huge black dude who I went on to become fast friends with for a few years...good memories that choon :D

AND...Hideaway has just come on the radio...memories of cute girls in wonderbras and chifon tops are piling in...

couple more -

hardfloor - lost in the silver box
orlando voorn - flash
ben sims - manipulated - adam beyer remix

i could do this all day...

:)

more:

Genaside 2 - Sirens of acre lane
KLF - Make it rain
Nightmares on wax - Aftermath
Tomas Heckmann - Drax LTD 2

Ooooh, I've just remembered an absolute killer from early 94 - I wonder if anybody remembers it? It's on Limbo records and it's called TGV by, erm... it might have been Gypsy, or Havana (which Gypsy was one half of). It's a huge, hugely chunky tribute to the TGV and absolutely ripped the place apart every time it came on (tho the only DJ I ever heard play it was Paul Evolution, who was a big influence on my DJing style btw). Through a contact in the recording industry I somehow ended up inviting Gypsy along to a couple of Funtasy parties in Trenz in Stoke Newington back in 94 and got him massively munted - he was saying he'd never been to parties like that before and was really blown away with it all.

I remember it; it's by Sublime.

Illuminatae - Montvideo and Robert Armani - Circus Bells (hardfloor remix) were good choices, too.

I don't know if you've heard Illuminatae - Tempestada or Illuminatae - Tremorra Del Terra but they're both good too.

Dave Clarke - Protective Custody (Red 1)
Aphrohead - In The Dark We Live (Dave Clarke remix)
Surgeon - Magneze
DJ Funk - Run UK
Quench - Dreams
Planetary Assault Systems - Booster
Slam - Positive Education
Jagga - Finito
Sabres of Paradise - Smokebelch II

I hate Groove Aramada from the bottom of my heart - they are the complete antithesis of everything that is good about 'electronic' music. They are the U2 of the dance world. Fucking cunts.
I like U2. :p

I'm gonna chuck in a couple of old happy hardcore classics.

Force mass motion - Feel the panic.
Dj Seduction - erm, forgotten the name - good tune though.
DJs unite - something or other that was remixed loads
Khrome and time - anything, with the best being this sound is for the underground
Edge 1 remix - still the best.

Which reminds me - Circus Bells, Robert Armani, but the Hardfloor mix.
That tune hurts because it must be played as loud as possible.

From way back when probably brian transeau- relativity (before he turned in to that utter cunt bt).

In various different veins:
urban shakedown- some justice
jackson sisters i believe in miracles
bobby byrd i know you got soul
and fuse- substance abuse

Slam - Positive Education
Stax - Still Feel the Rain
Brothers in Rythym - Playing With Knives
Primal Scream - Come Together

Stopped clubbing about 93 so have forgotten most others.
