I started this thread for a bit of fun; so people could lighten up a bit and for a few second could detach themselves from the worries of the day, but I guess you’ll find the lemon sucking brigade everywhere; who think everything is crap but then admit to watching it.

the criticism on this thread hasn't even been that harsh. i'm totally entitled to say that i think the UK Music Hall Of Fame is an utterly pointless excercise designed specifically to increase profit for the music industry.

if you'd have started a thread calling for the U75 Music Hall Of Fame, i'm sure the thread would be going strong. but the UK Music Hall Of Fame isn't the kind of endeavour that i like to buy into.

Hey. Ive noticed that a lot of people here are anti-almost everything, and it can become quite negative, as there are lot of cynics, who arent happy with a lot of things, be it tv shows, music, whatever, and are overly critical. But I dont necessarily think its exclusively urbanites, Ive seen it on other boards, though to a lesser extent, so maybe its a proportion of people that use internet message boards in general?

In a pub I sometimes drink in I heard it said a few times and asked what is it; it turns out that if someone comes in after a bad day and moans about everything, people will tell them to fuck off and sit on there own, when they have chilled out a bit they tend to suck on a bit of lemon and then rejoin the company and it is all forgotten, I think it is a great idea and the faces they pull makes them look like right miserable pratsjasoon said:I did laugh at your 'lemon sucking brigade' though
