this reminds me of house parties at uni... i like the mix of hearing northern mcs, asaviour always sounds like he's got a cold tho!
Keep them coming Mrs
this is my mates remix of Asaviour - on a dusty jazz tip
BTW if anyone is into that theres an albums worth of his instrumental productions available here on a free netlabel download:
I'm popping out for a bit but will post more later

Caveman - Pages and pages
I remember driving round in the back of the car with a big batch of Council Estate of Mind on the back seat, that Skinnyman's friends were delivering.
They have a lot of respect for him.
It's genuine respect too.
I make Hip-Hop now and again, but I don't live it and breathe it like Skinnyman does. His stuff is raw but it's real, like him. At a time where most modern Hip-Hop is just a bad joke, and is anything but real. Yet they still blah on about keeping it real. Clowns. You know the ones I mean.
I've got time for Skinnyman. He deserves a bit more success.
Fucking love Foreign Beggars, and can't fathom why they're not huge.
I recently picked up the Criminal Minds re-issue on Rephlex. Still sounding so fierce more than 20 years on...
He doesn't, not since this.
stop buying records steph

This one needs a spoiler
Well I just found out what Skinnyman has been up to. I didn't know. He was friend of a friend type of thing and another generation. And I moved away from London too since a while.
It's not for me to judge him, or defend him.
I'll just venture that he lost his head a little bit by the sounds of it. But I don't know the full story, so I'll leave it there.
Anyway, maybe I missed it, but has no one posted any Stereo MCs yet in this thread?
Shame on you.
Does that work?!
