ice cream surpasses all other puddings

however, i am also partial to apricot crumble, profiteroles (sp?), strawberry flan, chocolate cake and custard, trifle, lemon cheesecake and spotted dick
 
:) Ooooh I forgot about Scones with loads of cream and proper strawberry Jam,,, with a strong pot of tea

Also Strawberry Flan made by moi,,, I make the bestest strawberry flan ever :cool:

Has anyone mentioned fruit salad,, not just any fruit salad tho,, one with loadsa lovely exoticy fruit innit :)

No porn, as far as I know. It's a biscuity base with jam on covered in custard. Delicious. Had it at school on Friday's. :)

They probably called it Essex Tart in my neck of the woods ;)

THAT's Manchester Tart? It was a school thing for me too...vile!

(so thank you, bloody London Borough of Waltham Forest school dinners service...you ruined my tastebuds in the early 80s with your badly made desserts.. :mad: )

'nother vote for gypsy tart here, plus...

summer pudding
baked chocolate cheesecake
sticky toffee pudding
and jelly - although it might face disqualification on the "too simple" rule - jelly is the ultimate - it's not too sweet, or heavy - there's always room for jelly.
