I think we needed 2 to get away from Nice then got a big one to Paris by a fantastic couple who gave us a tour of the sights and let us stay in their place. Then we got a lift to Calais from a trucker who offered to take us to Belgium but we opted to hitch onto the ferry on separate trucks.
