u75 pie challenge..?

Geri said:
I agree ^^^^

It's eating pies what counts, not making them, which is for ponces :p

Maybe the ponces could make the pies and the hardcore pie contestants could eat them , we'd need about 50,000 pies though ;)

i think we need to be as inclusive as possible, and so long as it's not a pie from a box, then it's allowed :)

I can tell you that krs is saying this having recently discovered the wonder and ease that is frozen pastry!

 there might be a few pastry crumbs in there though..... :D

i reckon we could persuade them to let us meet in the pieminister shop if we let them know that we are pieophiles :D

:D and let them sample our pies and buy our recipes and worship urban pie-supremos safe in the knowledge that we support all things pies and and and *runs out of breath and goes to check on curry*

or rather I could if I could work out which buttons to press ...
I can text from my landline because I know which buttons to press and I can make pies :p

traitor  i hope yr curry is concreted in puff pastry;)

well, i'm sure if we ask nicely they'd let us watch their pies being made; and the shop is open from 11am-7pm weekdays, if they weren't keen to allow people lounging around eating non-minster pies, then perhaps they'd allow us in earlier in the day?

ahh but you see it's like copyrighting them - dated innit? Those are my highly improbable recipies, and anyone making them now will be open to ridicule "you nicked that recipe from spanglechick, you did! - saddo!"

Maybe we could arrange it as a charity event , a pie creating contest where people make their own special pie filling for sample at pieminister ! Pies and charity , a great combination !

with my recipe! and it was a flan not a tart :p (well the recipe calls it west country flan)

Oi, stop spoiling the comedy potential inherent in the dual meaning of the word 'tart'.

;)

maybe we could get sponcership from pieminister or Greggs :) or weightwatchers....

That's a very good idea. We need lots of peeps with big eyes and a winsome expression. Any takers?
