Two books that everyone should own ...

Would you actually read the Complete Works of Shakespeare, though? I doubt I would. Reminds me of school too much.

Some people actually like Shakespeare ya know? :p

I enjoyed studying him at school. Othello was good, and Hamlet. Henry IV Part One I liked, too. But I wouldn't sit down and read him through choice and I wonder whether many people would these days.

Labyrinths by Jorge Luis Borges.

You will never need to read another. It contains all other books.
Borges' Collected Fictions contains Labyrinths.

I would recommend owning two copies of Collected Fictions, one as a spare in case you lose the first or want to give it away.

Dhalgren by Samuel R. Delaney - one of those odd books that gets better each time I've read it.

Outdoor Survival Handbook by Ray Mears - or another handy book that gathers dust forgotten.

Flashman and the Angel of the Lord

The Boys of 86 - The story of West Ham's Most Successful Season.

I have over 3,000 books my two books I like the best The outdoor world ,furneaux gold block over 300 illustrations on every subject a work of art and science, A book of poems Laughing blood by Richard Spender, its an emotional thing about war but you have to read it to understand, my copy has blood stains .
