He's a twat. But a twat with a talent for finding work and ensuring he gets a decent contract for when he gets sacked. More than once he's been having wages paid by three seperate clubs I think.
It's necessary for Oxford that Torquay (and Rushden) get relegated whatever I think of the clubs.
But yes, the loathesome prospect of the endless boasts we'll get from Atkins if he manages to keep Torquay up -- which is possible -- does add another reason to hope they don't manage it.

Torquay beat Stockport 4-0 tonight putting them level on points with Oxford and only a goal behind on goal difference 
Still any 2 out of about 8 or more teams that could go down though. I'm thinking Rushden and Stockport on the evidence of tonight maybe? Not looking too rosy for Oxford either though.

That result is a shocker
and could well send Oxford down.EVERYTHING now hinges on us not getting results any worse than Rushden or Torquay, next Saturday (Wrexham away) and especially on May 5 (last day) when we meet Leyton Orient at home -- Orient could well need all three points to hang onto automatic promotion ....
Possibility of us either surviving, or going down, on goal difference!
