Tupac

Hit Em Up (no link necessary).
Greatest war track ever with no contest (drake v kendrick was a joke).
Probably not a good influence on things on the whole, though.

(flip side is some equally unlikely rocksteady/rap bootleg that works surprisingly well but not quite as good as this... I forget the artists, will be on discogs)

If you haven't already seen this, it's brilliant.

Even my OH liked it and he'd never heard of Tupac (I know, right?:D).

What is it you like about male rape, in particular?
Apparently the bit where "the man's botton is rruined"

Which is a remarkably er.. visceral statement.

I could perhaps understand it if it was a switch up. Raping a rapist kinda thing. Not in real life but in some form of cathartic media. Not exactly healthy but I get someone being keen on that version.

Don't have enough context for his particular statement. (Goes to read some lyrics)

In fairness, only know a couple of his songs - so maybe it's a lyric rather than an ugly statement in favour of such violence...

Dunno was considerably inebriated. I'm actually meek as a lamb when it comes to any form of violence.

There is a particular lyric of his that stoops a bit lower.

Do you reckon it's a good thing to post lyrics like that, if you're not going to give any context?
