Can you get one to stick on your wall though?

With a bit of effort (and access to the right hardware) it is possible to 3D print your own (for a reasonable price) using data derived from Google mapping - for example here (or alternatively with OS elevation data). Though that would still leave you having to overprint the details of relevant geographical features (if you wanted such).
 
A winner of the annual Japanese Good Design Award seems to have had another go and it looks OK:
