Tree on Brixton Hill

Just heard a big thump outside, look out of the window and there is a tree on the road!

A group of kids just nearly drove into it and are now directing traffic up the hill.

just got home and it looks like it just gave up

i quite liked that tree, it was the one everyone sheltered under when it poured with rain.

Bummer i used to use that tree to shelter under when i used to live up the hill. Bit sad innit

I hope they take it to Brockwell Park.

trees falling over is cool but sad...poor tree. Bit dangerous, though I remember when a very large piece of metal fell off the side of a tower block into the middle of the road - luckily enough it was boxing day and fairly quiet.

Friend of my mum's had a BIG tree fall though his house in the hurricane in the 80s. Woke up to find half the house completely missing, just feet from his bed.

by the time i got in from work today it was looking a bit sad, then a litle troupe of tree surgeons came along and shredded it!! how undignified. i wonder what happened to all the things that lived in it.

there's a really odd hole where it was now.

RIP tree - i hope you enjoy being compost
