Actually Guinevere - you could tae the ferry to the Hook of Holland and then get a train to Hamburg. Google maps says the drive is 4-ish hours. Would certainly be eaier to travel in Holland as a lot of people speak English and the trains are lovely. Really lovely.

Actually, we tried to go on the Eurostar, but it was closed by a fire, so we went train, train, ferry, train, train, train and then met up with my parents in Gent, Belgium, and drove, over two days, to Hamburg.![]()

I want to go from Prague to Zywiec in Poland next nea. Where, may I ask, did you source your ticket?
