that's hanna reitsch, something of a nazi postergirl, but nonetheless a respected woman pilot - the world's first female test pilot - who tested early piloted versions of the v1, and flew generaloberst ritter von greim into berlin in the closing days of the war in europe to try and persuade hitler to leave the doomed city as the soviet army advanced block by block. hitler refused, but promoted von greim, and reitsch (one of only two women to be awarded the 1st class iron cross) then flew him back out of the besieged city.
