The rumour is that SWP may be willing to come on loan but we're not sure. But then I'm sure you read that on the same site as me!

Heh... cos the interweb is buggered in China at the moment (with only Urban, somehow, miraculously, working all that well - don't ask me how, even the Editor doesn't know) I find it a bit harder to keep up than usual...

Can't see Koumas going to West Ham. His missus is a pain in the arse by all accounts and doesn't like him moving around. He was also reportedly advising his West Brom team mates not to go in the transfer window as it would weaken their chances of going up. He's a funny bloke - terrified of flying so travels by car. He also came up with the best excuse for missing an international match ever: he discovered an old air raid shelter buried in his garden and wanted to spend the weekend digging it out!
I don't understand why West ham don't go in for Earnshaw. Guaranteed to get you goals and if you do get relegated he'll get you 25-30 in the Championship. He's much better than that overrated big-head Zamora who never even did it at Championship level. Would make a good partnership with Ashton when he gets fit too.
Looks like Cardiff are going to sign Geoff Horsfield according to the local paper. We're in a difficult position in the Championship because our ground is so crap compared to most of the others. Even average teams like Coventry have much better facilities than us. If we were competing with say Sunderland for a player there's no way he'd pass up the Stadium of Light for a season at Ninian. Looks like it's has-beens and lower league players for us.

Transfer rumour reporting is hugely popular, so it kind of happens with any club who are considered to have a bit of money, now. So it's happening now with West Ham - because of the buyout, anyone remotely possibly "available" is being linked.
The Spurs ones were quite amusing, though.

True, but with us, it's plausible but unlikely EPL players. Spurs were being linked with just about every major star imaginable...

We were supposed to be getting Lucas Neill for the back, It would be a good move. I don't think we'll get anyone else, the players we have need to settle in more.
