Transfer deadline muppetry meltdown

My mum's friend's son's workmate's brother's girlfriend's father's cousin saw David Villa in a taxi with Carlo Ancelotti.
Villa to sign for Chelsea this afternoon. Fact.

My mate's cousin works at the Lowry Hotel and just took a suite reservation for a Mr Ribery, travelling from Munchen.

Seriously, both BBC and SSN have had loads of calls about him being spotted at Manchester airport. They're joking that Frank has now been there for six hours!

Mmmmmm ive heard these rumours about Joe Ledley coming to Molineux for £6m. I wouldnt mind him but I cant see us paying that.

Cardiff closed the transfer window at 12pm tho, as Ridsdale is on plane to Malaysia to meet our new backers, no one is coming or going!

Oh right, oh well I couldnt see us signing anyone else after yesterdays shopping by Mick McCarthy.

Dunne, by the way, has had his move to Villa ratified by the FA but NOT by the Premier League as it stands, and both need to be forthcoming before a deal can be confirmed.

What happens if the Premier League don't ratify it?

Either way, Aston Villa, Birmingham, Burnley, Everton, Fulham, Hull, Portsmouth, Spurs and Stoke were today's movers and shakers, making this a warm bath of a deadline day rather than a red hot lava-spilling volcano. Still, it kept you all occupied at work didn't it?

Fucking knobs-of-the-top-four-plus-Citeh sucking journalists .... why not try to analyse what these transfers mean for the participants rather than being snide? Twat.

Another FANTASTIC transfer window for West Ham. Selling one of our best defenders and then failing to use the dosh for a striker

so we are not talking about the fact we sold savio to fiorentina for a decent wedge plus a massive sell on clause and got a defender from them, AND sugned a striker for 7million the day before?

Yeah but we borrowed money from our own sponsors to buy that striker.

We still need a proper out and out striker.

which is why getting in 5 million was a good thing! Means we either can pay em back or still have funds for jan, dpending on quite how the money arrived, i have heard it two different ways.

I'm not disagreeing we could do with anoher striker, BUT considering we should be bust by now and didn't sell green, upson, parker etc I am fairly happy.

We got in: Illunga, kovac, nouble, Diamanti, da costa, Peter Kurucz(sub keeper), jiminez(loan), Daprela(swiss rb)

and lost: neil, collins, savio

that really isn't bad going. Reckon we spent a good 20 million and got in 8-10(depending on the savio deal, i dont think we got a straight 5million for him). Thats fairly good considering we have fuck all money.

I know you might be slightly more diserpointed then me cos you reckon we could have finished a couple of places hgher then my estimate, but dude its really not that bad, honestly! My only real regret is that quashie and davernport didn't fuck off! The 5 million(if someone was silly) from those two would have been the striker you were looking for.

That's a bit harsh, I dont suppose he's too happy at the thought of never being able to play again either!

yes i know its well harsh. I hope he plays again but i was waiting for him to leave long before the coke dealer got to him.

He was never going to play in a west ham(first team) shirt again either way:(
