I know it's partly a US v UK language thing, but when I hear/read "trainers" I think of shoes you'd actually wear for, you know, training in an athletic capacity. In other words, almost none of the ones posted on this thread. They're all sneakers, as far as I'm concerned.

If anyone DOES want to treat me, there's a v limited edition pair of Nike SB 6.0's I'm after with lights in the soles (like what kids have) or the even rarer 6.0 Tiffany's - they got jewels in 'em going for about £300 a pair on ebay atm
