Train Layouts and plans WTF? Where?

Well done, but that wasn't what I was asking for.

I need diagrams and full measurements of seat placing and and spacing.

I have called the makers, the leasers, the operators, the safety testers, ORR, network rail, RSSB, etc but they all tell me someone else has them despite them supposedly being in the public domain.

Ah, third angle projection.

Although technically the plan should be sectional view, I think, because it's showing what's inside, rather than the top of the carriage.

Sorry, I'm an engineer.

Not if you're using architectural conventions, in which case the plan shows what's inside, and the roof plan is called the ... roof plan.

Sorry, I'm an architect.

All I want are some blue prints that show the dimensions and seat formations of some regular suburban trains.

You would think the makers have some plans. No.

Admit it. This is for your Hornby layout in the loft, isn't it? :D

Why don't you get on the train in question and take a photo of the evacuation notice? All the trains I've seen have one - Virgin have them on the station too for some reason.

This is because despite Isambard Kingdom Brunel's bet efforts, the genny still fuses at high tide on the Dawlish Wall. (In a Virgin train, for some reason)

Most of the plans on those evacuation notices look like they've been drawn by primary school pupils.
