i'd love to see him play for grimsby borough
I bet you would I had the pleasure of watching him play for us on loan when he was starting out. He was outstanding and had no fear. People were saying we gotta sign this kid i laughed and said he would play for England and in the champions league some day!
i have high hopes he will play in the championship
He might do one day as a swan song after collecting a load of medals along the way
That's a healthy attendance
Lucky you didn't concede at the end there, but then again you should've been well out of sight by then. So, Arsenal and Chelsea out of the top 4
Mousa Dembele had a game for all the ages today. All the passing, vision and attacking link play of a number 10, the drive, running with the ball and ground covered of a number 8, with the physicality and tackling of a number 6.
Mousa, I flipping love you
An agreeable day out all in all..
One of the strangest Spurs games I’ve experienced this season at Wembley. Perhaps it was the opposition - just felt weird not walking down the Seven Sisters Rd.
Anyway. Even-ish 1st half followed by us ramping it up in the 2nd - to which Woolwich didn’t really have an answer, except to threaten to steal a point late on.
We should’ve been out of sight with 20 mind to spare tbh. However, I’ll take the 3pts however they come.
Dembele was immense. Powering through their midfield three like they weren’t there. MoM without any doubt.
Big week in Turin, followed by a trip to Rochdale.....
More excited about tonight's game than any in a long long time....
They are a hard team to beat at home, you'll be up there with Barca ,Madrid and Bayern if you do so. Should be a great game!
I actually believe we can win the Champions League
No need for a as you showed earlier in the group stages that your top level is up there with the best. Fwiw I think Liverpool WILL win it
Why not ? Just avoid Barca at all costs
It's a bit early to be drinking Truxta
I'm high on life maaaaaaan
Good, more drugs for us then
Shortest odds on 'oddchecker'
I think Spurs should be shorter odds given their consistency of late.
There are ten or twelve (imo) decent teams that could win this depending on performance (and luck of the draw) which makes this tournament exciting.
Juve and Barca are quite long odds given there pedigree in europe. Are the next round of games already decided or is it a draw from the hat ?
a little hope is a dangerous thing
Still underdogs in this.
ive not cared what happens to spurs (other than finishing above Arsenal) for years. Even last season when we should've won the league.
I'm feeling an awakening in the force....
Spurs, Liverpool, Juve could flop awfully or win the whole thing with a bit of luck.
Hard to see past Man City, Barca or Madrid (maybe PSG/Bayern) as strong favourites but all can be beaten 'on the day'
What comes next?
13/14 & 20/21 February: round of 16, first leg
6/7 & 13/14 March: round of 16, second leg
16 March: quarter-final draw
3/4 April: quarter-finals, first leg
10/11 April: quarter-finals, second leg
13 April: semi-final and final draw
24/25 April: semi-finals, first leg
1/2 May: semi-finals, second leg
26 May: final (NSK Olimpiyski, Kyiv)
Not if he stays with tottenham i fear
See a good article where harry kane said he loved his time at millwall and commented that the "fans were mental"
He always speaks well of us and we appreciate what he did for us. He is a hell of a player!
Infact saved us from going down in many way with his goals
what a forward line wall could have had if they had kept all the loanees at that time
Kane, Puncheon, Townsend, Wood , Prob piss this champs with that lot
A couple of them would have also gone down with the mob on here being "left" footed (cough)
Cracking game tonight so far, for us neutrals at least!
Could have been worse at half-time but away goal and only one down.
Lucky they're not three down. And I see Kane the great thesp is at it again. Good thing some continental refs have the balls to tell him to do one.
A yard offside for the first goal
Yep, shouldn't have stood. Cracking finish though.
