who was? it was never going to happen. Most Spurs fan are just happy to be beating Arsenal, and out of the top four at that.

That maybe so but you have had the best squad/team in ages. It pains me to say it but you played some great football, have some great players and have run Chelsea (with no champions league commitments) very close. I think the champions league took a lot out of Spurs in the long run. Leicester winning it last year should indicate that Spurs were also capable of winning it this time around. I understand as a fan it's great to get one over your arch rival but i believe most Spurs fans would have happily lost both derby games this season but still win the league. Getting one over Arsenal could mean finishing fifth ffs :D and not much to write home about is it.

Chelsea are the better team - theres no doubting it - we weren't robbed of anything this season...last season, we kind of deserved it, but who would deny Leicester their fairytail. I'm happy with the result. Personally it still feels amazing that we're in second place, and by some distance too.

Oh yeah, that would be fine - so long as we finish above Arsenal its all good! :D (kind of) happily lose both derby games as long as we finish above them

In all honesty Spurs have been electric this season and played some full on attacking football. Their form of late had been worthy of winning the Prem . I ain't gonna say too much more because it ain't over yet .

I just think if you don't have the resources like Man citeh and Chelsea then the Champions league will always weaken the chance you have of winning the prem title. Isn't that what it's all about ? Win a trophy and fuck settling for second or third.
Just a nostalgic moan from me :D ,, Carry on.

I think back when Chelsea were on that winning streak back in January/February they played Stoke and won 1-0 In a very bland game and remember thinking these cunts are going to win with a load of shitty ugly wins and I think that run was the difference. Got to hand it to Conte but the football is shite Spurs deserve to win it on entertainment alone but never happens look at Liverpool 2014 life's not fair.

It's been a great season and we've played some brilliant football but more than that we look genuinely improved again. Happy days.

top send off yesterday, looked great on telly, mates loved it there - at first thought everyone should stay on the pitch / take a bit home with them instead of some Levy orchestrated ritual, but it was bigger than Levy / The Board etc, was genuinely moving to see all the old ( and not so old ) faces come back on - obvious shame about Gazza ( great to hear the fans remember ), but more so Burkinshaw for me ( 81 now, not sure where / how he is ) .

If Walker's griping, sell the fucker. Play Trippier instead, or (yoot) Kyle Walker-Peters. Yeah, that's right - Kyle Walker's Natural Replacement is Kyle Walker-Peters. MIND. BLOWN.

If KW's fine and it's all just media bollocks, disregard the above. Except KW-P's still ready, so we have 3 RWBs... :hmm:

Sell Sissoko. Don't replace him, but get Lamela fit again FFS. Lad's brilliant, in case you've forgotten.

Don't buy anyone, just plug all that spare cash into the current personnel staying. Nail Toby to a fucking wall until 2045.

Winks fit again. He's going to be (is?) amaaaaaazing. Huge breakout season for Scholes MKII.

    Danny fit again. DANNY ROSE.

GKN more ready to slot in. Half a dozen yoot ready for 1st team integration. Hoozefukizat Lezniak looking a massive prospect. I honestly see no need for big buys unless anyone else goes.

Marcus Edwards, so we are told... :hmm:

Danny Roles. psssst This one's a Corax Special - Watch. This. Fucking. Space.

Please tell me that Roles is a left wing back. Kyle Walker and Kyle Walker-Peters, Danny Rose and Danny Roles, would be great comedy. All we'd need would be a young Finnish striker named Torr Nehdo and we'd be well set.

One centre back needed. Cover is a bit thin for the usual 3, especially since Dier would be needed to cover big Vic in midfield sometimes. Michael Keane would be excellent but looks to be heading elsewhere (back to Utd?). Ben Gibson looks a good player from Boro, but is a bit left sided so would only cover SuperJan (where we have Wimmer or Ben Davies plays there for Wales). Harry Maguire from Hull? Or promote from the youth team, unleash the Cameron Carter-Vickers.

In other Kyle Walker related news, we've been linked with Dani Alves.

Well, that was a dicey affair. Shame we had to be content at scraping the 3 pts, rather than putting on a more convincing final display.

Spurs under your manager have easily been the most improved team in the Premiere League imo.

Jenas is right: if it wasn't for the temporary move to Wembley, you'd have been nailed on to be champions next season.
