Not Tottenham I know, well not quite. We met friends for breakfast nearby earlier and am now walking the wetlands and stumbled across this. The dinners look good, the wine is delicious. The footie ground looks bloody ugly.

Tottenham Hale must be a bit of a hole. Chatting to a colleague recently, he said he came from Walthamstow. Having visited again this weekend and talking specifics, it turns out he comes from "close" to Tottenham Hale, not Walthamstow.
Had a great time up in the North yesterday.

Hard to confuse the two, there is a big stretch of reservoirs / marshes between the two.
Quite a walk from tott hale to eg blackhorse road.

I think he thought he was speaking to someone who doesn't know the area very well, added to which he did not want to admit coming from the Tottenham side of the water.
