Market forces' set wage rates on the good jobs ? or if you want the best people for the job you must pay top dollar.low skill low pay, min pay, for max work, thats how it works in the U.K. Not a fair system for many hardworking people. The Torys will have you working for food.

I could see how the self employed could benefit from this i.e. they could pay themselves 1p an hour and take the rest as bonuses and thus only pay capital gains (I think).

Other then that sounds like a bad idea...
