Well sorry, really sorry, very sorry indeed but:
I believe honesty is the best policy
When I read it - I DID find it funny -
I don’t see why I should not find it funny, the joke is actually ON THE BRITISH PEOPLE (or really US people because It talks of Medicaid) and their terror of putting their foot in their mouth and their terror of being perceived as even a little bit racist or even a little bit homophobic even a little bit not completely multicultural or even a little bit not up to date and politically correct.
We read it and know that our terror is that people in Britain ACTUALLY MIGHT THINK LIKE THIS and some do, but we also see the humour of the immigrant who in effect is saying hey I have been here for years I was always your neighbour and I know exactly what SOME OF YOU think of me, you think I am stealing your taxes, stealing your homes stealing your women etc etc ..
So when I read it I was smiling, the rest of you can say how awful but I am being honest with you. Can I really be a racist or Xenophobe when my partner is not from Great Britain, my children have dual nationality, I have friends (WHO LIVE WORK and STUDY HERE) who are Iranians, Spanish, Mexicans, Portugese, Nigerians, Mongolian and Chinese.
None of them are scroungers in fact one has two jobs because he has an enormous house and a big mortgage.
We have hobby
it's called breeding,
Welfare pay
for baby feeding.
An accusation that has been targeted at white English people before now.
If they no like us,
they can scram,
Got lots of room in
Pakistan
Indeed, if the government of Great Britain make it intolerable for me to live here I will be off to Pakistan as well, and no doubt Pakistanis will be writing poems about me too
I am a tolerant person. I find it completely intolerable that tolerant people who are completely intolerant of intolerant people expect me to tolerate their intolerance.
honesty ends ... normal posting can resume ...
