Probably.......and his teeth......they have always annoyed me a bit........dunno why, i don't respond to all that clean cut, shiny white teeth stuff iykwim !

There's a cutaway scene in Family Guy: Kate is sitting talking to Tom. Suddenly, the power goes out. She looks down, and an electronic bracelet is falling from her leg.

She runs out to another room, where there's about ten hunky guys wearing only underwear, inside a prison cage. She says, 'Hey guys: the force field is down!"

The pull open the door, then the men and Kate all flee off the estate.

And let's not forget, he was the most famous actor EVER at this point. He'd achieved Madonna and Michael Jackson status. Back then that meant he was god. Literally god.

I think what happened was that the studios promoted him as if he were the biggest ever.

Then along came a turkey or two, like Days of Thunder, and the bloom went off the rose.

He did seem to piss it all away, didn't he? Still, when I were a lass he was definitely up there in mega-celebrity royalty with Mads and Jacko.

Anyway, I don't follow these sorts of things, but I take it it's universally recognised Top Gun serves as a basis for Starship Troopers?

I was always attracted to her. There's a scene in Witness, where she has her shirt off, looking at Harrison Ford. It creates a strange sort of poignant feeling in me: I'm physically attracted to her, but you know of the awful times she's been through and it makes you feel....what?.....conflicted maybe. Maybe poignant catches it.
