Top 5 Fall songs

Mrs La Rouge likes the Fall, too.

Impossible to choose a top 5, but here's a list anyway:

Lost In Music
Hip Priest
Industrial Estate
Why Are People Grudgeful
Totally Wired

lots of the old ones for me, memories of listening to John Peel eulogising about them as i listened to the radio in my bedroom....

Kicker Conspiracy
Rowche Rumble
Eat Yourself Fitter
Bingo Master's Breakout
Fiery Jack

(and if i'm allowed one cover, then it has to be the version of Rollin Danny)

just listening to a comp that annie did for me ages ago, and I do love

Touch Sensitive
Container Drivers
Totally Wired
Eat y'self Fitter
Couldn't Get Ahead

Bear with me. I refused to entertain the Fall for years for reasons best not gone into here, but she turned me

So, is this gonna sink like a stone? Or would you come back with your Top 5 Fall songs?

How can you have a top 5 without Bingo Masters Breakout or Its the New Thing?

Been reading his book, cracking stuff but i couldn't listen to the music, despite the odd good one liner

It's an impossible task. Superb tracks just roll off the keyboard, but here's the first 5 I thought of. . .

Mere pseud mag ed
Frightened
Hip Priest
Rowche Rumble
Hard life in country

New Face in hell
Rouche Rumble
How i wrote elastic man
Lost in Music (cover)
There's one on the Fall Heads Roll that has wicked bass and groove but i cannot recall the name

I don't know much of the Fall at all.

But I came across Bonkers In Phoenix, and it's one of my very favourite songs ever. Amazing. I love it.

Their other stuff that I've listened to has been a bit repetitive and dull to my ears (although musically accomplished), so if someone can point me towards more stuff like Bonkers that'd be grand. :)

I'm disappointed that no-ones mentioned 'Hexen Definitive / Strife Knot' (Live At The Elephant Fayre 1984). Danny la rouge, in particular, should hang his head in shame imo.

I've listened to it three times now and it's getting better each time. Best album I've heard them do since as far back as 'Code: Selfish'. I thought the last album was pretty good but this is a good few notches up from that. I'd like to go and see them live again. It's been years since I thought that.
