Blame - "Sphere" (Seba Remix)
Seba - "The Wasp"
Ganja Cru (specifically my old mate Zinc who was playing at my hedgeparties in 1992!) - "Super Sharp Shooter"

Just burning to my computer the omni trio deepest cut volume 1...listening to it for the first time in years....perhaps a bit clinical/arty for true dandb fans but I'm enjoying it. I only have 3 or 4 drum and bass cds....and half are omni trio, haunted science is great. do d and b artists still make cds?

The album form has always been a problem for dnb - I think HIgh COntrast albums stand up okay as LP's - if you like Omni Trio I reckon you'll be into both HC albums.

Also theres an album by a guy called Polar on Section 18 thats quite Omni Trio-ish.

Recent harder Dnb artists that have done on the album front include BAd Company, Pendulum,Dillinja and I suppose Roni Size. Krust has an album about to drop - he can be quite deep.

“Adam Fenton is a genius. He is a pioneer and a visionary; an irrepressable talent who has achieved basically every professional goal he has ever set his mind to. I know of no other artist who has checked as many things off his creative to-do list. Ambient electronica, drum and bass, pop, hip hop, rock…he sings, writes, produces, composes, has three successful companies…there was nothing left for him to do but come to Hollywood. It was his last frontier…I am so happy to be working with him.” - Stacey Castro, Stacey Castro Media, Inc.

I wondered what had happened to him (Adam F)as just found one of his cds in this pile I am burning....dissapeared up his own arse...what a twunt.

He now produces beats in LA for hip hop artistes.

Last seen in a Mobb Deep hip hop video (I think) arriving in a warehouse filled with "oh so mean" rappers - standing on the frickin' bonnet of a huge ugly Hummer as it drives into the middle of the space to a chorus of "yo-yo-yo" and many complicated hand signals held aloft.

And it was then I too realised that he had indeed disappeared up his own arse.

Knowing the original fairly well I'm intirigued by the idea!

It is beautiful - I've not heard the original, though I quite liked Therapy? in the nineties... there's something about the feedback and the beats that are quite brilliant, and Photek... say no more.

Whilst I'm here I'd love to shamelessly plug/garner some opinions from you lot on my latest D&B project.
It's in the music comp but no other fucker here ever bothers with it, apart from the contributors themselves!

Scroll down to the bottom track - it's "santa's step" - pk

Only takes a couple of minutes to d/l...

There's another one on there called "won't give up" which is also on a D&B tip, though admittedly it's not quite as well produced.

Looking to put a vinyl EP together for the summer once I get around to paying for some pro mastering time.

Any production tips/advice/constructive criticism/calling me a cunt gratefully recieved!

;)
