Top 3 tracks of this decade.

e2a: And I'm changing one of my picks anyway. Oh wait, I can't edit my original post any more :(
Fuck sticking to three then; just bung up some more.

Bang Bang - Shoot the Model (Teen remix) (2004)

Golden Boy with Miss Kittin - Rippin Kittin (2001)

Los Hermanos - The Very Existance (2004)

There's a whole decade of quality stuff to choose from. Three just ain't enough.

there's some good choices on this thread for sure but how about questions, what is the top three list headings for the 00s then we can really start discussing the decade.

1) Girl Artists taking over
2 )Breakcore genre triangulation
3) Basswarp madness

My selection.

Johnny Boy - You Are The Generation That Bought More Shoes And You Get What You Deserve
Killers - Mr Brightside
Ben Folds - You To Thank

:D

it's a seminal track in dubstep but does it define the decade ? it doesn't really sum up dubstep really either ?

I thought it was a top three tracks of the decade, or in other words, what were your favourite tracks, rather than top three most important/decade defining tracks of the decade.

In midnight request line's case it is important as it was one of the first dubstep (a genre that had been incubating since 2002 or so) tracks that broke out of the relativly small dubstep scene and got played by grime deejays/radio air play/etc... so it opened doors...

It is, it's your favourite tracks of the decade, regardless of influence.

Although I did feel a bit vindicated when I heard Jarvis mention 7 Nation Army cos the riff has become part of our culture.
