I always thought Eddie was a pretentious twat and couldn't understand why everyone raved about Pearl Jam coz I enjoyed some of their tunes but the whole taking himself too seriously thing fucked it for me. But tonight I think he showed he was just as embarressed about how bad he was and underplayed his part in Alive to avoid comparison.
It may be the whiskey or nostalgia (porbably both) but I loved it.
The geeks with the kazoo's were about 15 years to late for the indie boat, Jamie Foxx is a twunt, can't remember the others but Corinne was the real star, if only she'd sang some of her other songs we haven't heard a million times already.

I only made it as far as Corinne Bailey Rae...fucking hell, that was awful. Someone who perpetually wears such a stupid coy smile should not be allowed to display themselves to others. I would have been induced to violence if the tedium of Pearl Jam hadn't tranquillised me with horror.
