Toilets on the Continent. Grrrrr!!!

But not all is well in GB bathroom design, despite the fact that we are all used to it....

Q = Why can a bath overflow ?

A = Because you leave the taps running with the plug plugged in!

Q = No, again, why can a bath overflow?

A = BECAUSE THE OVERFLOW HOLE AND PIPE ARE TOO FF.ING SMALL !!

In Britain, the overflow hole and pipe are just too small.

You would not find such a problem in a modern German bathroom.

I don't like bath overflows at all. If I've got one, I usually block it up as I like to have the bath filled right up to the brim and get proper immersed, like. I know they're functional but despite years of chronic alcohol abuse and refusing to engage my brain, I'm still just about capable of remembering I've left a tap running.

Most of the time.

((((Downstairs neighbours)))) :(

Not really bothered about 2 sinks in the bathroom, but two sinks in the kitchen is amazing and should be mandatory everywhere!
