Tofu, or not tofu, this is the question...

I see.....great... that's what I want cos plain regular tofu falls to pieces whenever I try to cook it. Cheers. :)
Grrrrr, I'm a tofu purist. What you say offends my clan

I know what you mean. I'm the same about bread. Strangely, I don't care about tofu in the same way. Maybe I will if I develop a real taste for it.

I have exactly the same problems with tofu - I normally find the cubes break up entirely leaving something which looks more like curdled milk than tofu.

This is what happens with my cauldron tofu!! :( It just tastes wrong every time I try to do summat with tofu.

I'm going to get Pie Eye to give me a lesson before we part domestic ways :(

They put some stuff around it and make it all stiff, it's not like regular plain tofu.

Are you thinking of the marinated stuff?

Why not try regular tofu in miso soup?

You dont have to stir it into a stir fry. Make a nice sauce with a few vegies toast the tofu in the oven or under the grill until slightly browned and firm and just add it to he sauce.

In Chinese restaurants it's quite often dipped in egg before frying to make it crispier.
