with beans on toast i always have one slice of complete toast with the beans on (i actually quite like the bean juice soaking into the bread) and then another slice cut into triangles at the sides. these stay crispy and are used for scooping up the beans that fall off the main slice.

i love threads like this.

I just cut a doorstop style slice of bread so that the juice doesn't make it all soggy:cool:

It always does though, it always does :(

For myself I eat it uncut. If I'm making it for my girls I cut it in triangles 'cos they like that.

I tried eating toast without cutting it once, when I couldn't find a knife, but I didn't like eating the crust first.

It should be main bread- then crust last.

I dont actually cut toast when I make it, but as a kid, when my mum made my breakfast, she would cut it into triangles and when my dad made me breakfast, he would cut it into rectangles. I somehow preferred the rectangles.

Eww don't you people get crumbs round your mouth if you don't cut it?

Whats the point of having a beard to "store things for later" if you don't get the crumbs in your beard in the first place .

Toast should never be cut . In fact if food can't be eaten with the hands or a fork then it should not be eaten IMO

With eggs, I got toasty pacifists. :(
