To leave the heating on or not?

Found this:

1/Switch off the central heating .
2/ starting with the radiator the furthest away form the pump
open the valve and bleed each radiator until all the air is
out of the system.

You could consider getting a thermostat fitted, so the heating switches itself off once it reaches a certain temperature. It's also very useful when you go away, to stop the house getting so cold the pipes freeze.

The guy who fitted our new boiler last year said it was more efficient to leave the heating on constantly, but with a thermostat, than to have it going on and off.

I suppose it's OK so long as you keep your core temp up - the body shouldn't go sacrificing toes ...

My lack of feeling is partly due to my my surfing chairleg getting stuck in a hole in the floor so I lean against the wall and crush the nerves in my shoulder ...

Why dont you just put something over the hole you loon :D

My gf grew up in a house that was sickeningly hot, always. I grew up in a house thats pretty cold most of the time, but you get used to it.

I am never ill. She is always fucking ill, and cold.

I dont think overly hot houses are good for you (thing is now I'm stuck with a constantly moaning, cold, ill girl :D )
