TIP : Preventing PC's getting slower over time

Anyone know a safe, free Windows partitioner? I'd usually reconfigure partitions while making it a dual-boot Ubuntu machine but don't wanna go down that route with this laptop ATM.

I'm not sure that any partitioner is truly safe, I'd make sure you have everything well backed up before you start. You could see if partition magic is floating round in the normal places.

There's a trial version of partition magic available but it's only good for discs up to 80Gb,

About the paging file, there is also an 'initial size' i need to set, what should that be?

Also, on this following site it says placing the page file on a different partition rather than a separate hard drive will slow it down. Is that definitely not the case as you suggest?
