Time to be a bit of a tourist

Looking that the first part of Saturday is going to be Train from Ilford to Stratford then DLR to Greenwich for a leisuurely riverbus ride to Westminster then an amble back through the centre seeing the sights (well whatever she chooses to do really) etc then (if funds permit) dinner in Savior Faire in Holborn. a pint or two (hopefully with urbanites iftrhere are any around) then back.

I'd also recommend the Horniman museum in forest hill, and the national gallery. they are both free, as well

you didn't swallow that line did you? The commentary is a part of the job they're paid for (some of them are RMT members so I know this) but they always claim to be doing it for free to bump up the tips. It's a lighterman tradition that goes back centuries, allegedly, so it'd be a shame to let it die
